Grant Stinchfield, Owner
As the host of Newsmax TV's "Stinchfield," nothing cries freedom like a 1911. When I was working at NRA TV I saw first hand how 1911 owners are often neglected in the world of firearms. I have always had a love of art, and what better way to merge my love of art and firearms together then to hunt down and find only the best 1911 hand carved stag grips available. Alamo Grips treats every 1911 owner they way they should be, special!
You can catch Grant weeknights on Newsmax at 8PM ET. Newsmax can be found on every major cable and satellite provider in America. For complete listings go to Newsmaxtv.com
Rocky Mountain Elk
Our Elk Stag grips are sourced from the Rocky Mountains. They are hand carved and of the highest quality you can find. Elk are also called wapiti, a Native American word that means “light-colored deer.” Elk are related to deer but are much larger than most of their relatives. A bull (male) elk's antlers may reach 4 feet above its head, so that the animal towers 9 feet tall.
Big Horn Sheep - Ram
Our Rams Horn grips are also sourced from Stag found in the Rocky Mountains. As their name suggests, bighorn sheep have true horns that they retain throughout their life. Males, called rams, have large horns that curl around their faces by eight years of age. These horns can weigh up to 30 pounds. Females, called ewes, have smaller horns that curve slightly to a sharp point within the first four years of life. Because Rams keep their horns for a life time, Rams horn is harder to come by, therefore more unique and more expensive.
